Up for auction is this magnificent Art Deco Coffee Table with a Blue mirrored top. The mirrored top was made by applying the linear geometric design in a triangle pattern in a band around the edge of the glass top on the underside of the glass and the mirroring it in a blue color, so that the design and mirroring are on the underside and will not wear off. The top of the table has a linear border geometric triangles around the outside of the top mirrored surface. There are 4 curved legs which go down to a square platform base. The design treatment of the table is a truly wonderful Art Deco design, the curving legs, oblong top and square base, a wonderful play of shapes. Art Deco tables of this design with colored mirrored glass are hard to find. Measurements are: Overall ht. 22 1/2" tall, oblong top 23 1/4" x 13 1`/2", square base 12 1/4" sq. There very slight wear to the blue glass of the table, but nothing major, there are not chips or cracks to the mirrored glass on this table. Wonderful patina. .
