  I will be listing several items from my late uncle's estate. This is a beautiful piece of antique art deco dated back to the late 1920s to early 1930s, so I have been told. My uncle was in his 80s and it belonged to his late mother and was purchased during The Depression. This piece is in nice vintage condition with a few blemishes here and there. Other than than, there are no other significant areas of concern with the wood itself. I do not know the type of wood that this piece is made of. The gem-like accents on the brass or brass-colored drawer handles appear to be bakelite as well. There are mirroed cobalt blue tiles on the lower part of the mirror and they are absolutely stunning and quite exquisite. They are in nice vintage condition; however several are missing with a few remaining in a drawer to be re-attached. One drawer handle is missing and cannot be located. Perhaps you could find some type of replacement. This is a very elaborate piece of furniture and is one of four pieces in the set being listed. The other pieces are a nightstand, bed, and vanity/dresser. Please take time to view those pieces as well. All were made by Broyhill of Marion, North Carolina. The chest is available for pick-up only in North Carolina. It measures as follows: Height: approx 69 inches to the top of the mirror and the height of the lower part is 25 inches; Width: approx 48"; Depth: approx 19".
